The OlgaGillies website is run by myself, Olga Gillies, and is a really small artisan business. All data protection duties are handled by myself, Olga Gillies.

I collect the personal information you voluntarily provide to me, which includes your name and e-mail address, in order to subscribe to my newsletter, receive my free content, comment on my blog, and/or purchase services or online products.

I collect your name, email address, address and telephone numbers if you make an online purchase of my products and/or services. My website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides me with an online platform that allows me to sell my products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. Please refer to Wix Privacy Policy to learn more about their privacy practices.

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by this website adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information. I do not store this information at all.  

 

3.3 Website Visitor Tracking

Like most websites, my website uses Google Analytics. This tool collects information in an anonymous form, including the number of visitors to the site, where visitors have come to the site from and the pages they visited. I use this information to better understand how visitors find me and how they interact with my website. I can use this to make adjustments to my website, to deliver a better user experience.

I use Wix to write newsletters. If you choose to receive my email updates your email address will be stored in the Wix database. At any time you can unsubscribe from my emails either from within the email or by emailing me.

I am committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, I have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information I collect online.

Though I have these procedures in place I can’t be held responsible for any intercepted information shared through my Site without my knowledge or permission.
